Your most bizarre or unexplained injury?
I'll try never again to slag our injury prone players off again!! Woke up Friday morning with what seriously felt like a broken foot! Sole of the foot absolute agony and haven't been able to walk properly since. Bizarre thing is I was absolutely fine Thursday night. No trips, falls or slips and haven't been pounding the roads like Seb Coe - In fact I don't pound the roads at all unless it's running between the cars to reach Greggs!! The only thing I can think of is I might have had the self standing fan blowing away over night aimed at my feet but that wouldn't have rendered me as useless as Andy Carroll for four days and it's not serious enough for a trip to A and E and our Doctors has a waiting list on appointments till 2024!

So furnish me with your most bizarre and unexplained injuries so I can feel a little less like the only one with a post 50 year old body falling apart!!!

"she is a rocket".

I've heard of female ejaculation, but never so powerful as to act as a propellant.

You sure she has just got a puncture?

Not sure how but i've never really hurt myself during any of the daft and dangerous things ive done over the years.

Friend of mine who i went to Thailand with snapped his Collarbone doing a superman dive through a ring of fire on the beach, no travle insurance so proceeded to spend the next week or so still exploring thailand on some very powerful over the counter painkillers and a sling we made him out of a cut up bed sheet from a hotel

Saw the GP and she hadn't got a clue, although it has calmed down a bit now. She said no to gout as there was no swelling and plantar fasciitis was a possibility but she didn't reckon it would come on over night. So she is sending me for blood tests but the nurse is away on holiday so it's a two week wait, so by then I suspect I'll either be 100% ok or dead!!!!

Zico, I've had the same - sometimes on the top of my foot (tendonitis) the heel (Plantar Faslitis) a d other times on my toes also on the ball of my foot, had an. Ultrasound, X-Ray, blood tests - so not Gout but no cunt knows what it is.

It gets better the more I walk though!!

Bizarre: On The Ball falling over on me and fucking my ankle up. Not bizarre in itself as he’s a clumsy cunt who falls over a lot, but it caused me to skip going to a friends party and stay at the one my housemates were holding, where I ended up getting together with my now wife.

Unexplained: Went to bed absolutely fine. Woke up in the middle of the night in absolute agony, had broken two bones in my foot

I've had long issues with my eyes since 08, a month or so back I woke up had sleep in my eye so wiped it and my eyeball actually popped, with a shit load of liquid pissing out of it.

Now, I have no tear film across my eye which is causing blurriness.

Been up to Moorfields many times, can't do much but be on tablets and drops the rest me life.

My father in law had to have injections in his eye because of his diabetes.

Needles/injections are my kryptonite. Having to watch a needle come at you and injecting you in the eye has got to be up there with the worst things that could happen to me.

Re: Your most bizarre or unexplained injury?
2 weeks ago Wednesday finished work and noticed a cloud floating in my eye, fast forward to Friday, visit to opticians shows I have a Central Vein Retinal Occlusion (CVRO) rendering blurred vision in my right eye, its an eye stroke; last Weds ophthalmologist confirms this and tells me the treatment is 3 injections, 1 a month into the eye. I was in no pain beforehand and did nothing I can recall to bring on a blood clot!

Re: Your most bizarre or unexplained injury?
Not mine thankfully, but a few of us when kids were up on the corrugated roof of the football field changing rooms when a mate slid down to jump off and slit his ballbag open on an upturned rusty nail, I can still hear the howls!
